In The Field: Hundreds Came Forth

At the beginning of each service the drama team presented a special play that demonstrated the love and saving power of Jesus Christ. Two of the three nights Marilyn preached from the Gospels of Jesus’ power to heal and prayed for people concerning various ailments, habits and infirmities. On the other night, Sarah preached an illustrated message on Jesus ability to manifest miracles just by speaking the word.  As a result, we experienced three Holy Ghost filled and anointed meetings. The Wednesday night service was incredible! The Thursday night service was awesome and the Friday night service was unbelievable!

Many experienced dramatic miracles including the healing of a boy who had been deaf in one ear, a woman whose cataracts were removed, those whose tumors and growths disappeared and a young woman whose spine was straightened. Hundreds came forth when Marilyn and Sarah offered salvation, the greatest miracle of all. And hundreds more came forth to receive a deeper walk with Christ through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. As these folks were ushered to another location for special attention, the “crazy faith friends” (Marilyn’s ministry team who had traveled with her) were then invited to pray for the remaining attendees who had special requests for healing.

Albanians come forth to seek a closer walk with the Lord.

Hundreds came forth to receive this type of one-on-one ministry and the team obliged with prayer and the laying on of hands. In addition to the nightly meetings, Marilyn and Sarah conducted afternoon Ministers Training Meetings for local area clergy. In these sessions, the Albanian preachers received rich teaching on unity and the power of the curse and the power of the blessing.

The meetings ended with a prayer tunnel in which the ministry team was able to touch each person and agree with them for a greater anointing to carry out the mission of harvesting more souls in Albania. Wow! What a power-packed week! Praise the Lord! Now it’s on to Greece and Turkey.

terrye_at_trainstationFor the past couple of weeks, Say So! Magazine hasbeen following one of our readers on a modern day missions trip.  Rev. Terrye Ashby of New Solid Rock Fellowship Church, Baltimore, MD felt the call in her heart to "go ye therefore" and didn't hesitate when the opportunity presented itself through Marilyn Hickey Ministries.

When Terrye shared with the editors of Say So! that she would be going on this trip we jumped at the chance to get an insider's perspective of a modern day missions trip.  We have shared portions of Terrye's travel journal with you as she experiences being out in the field.  Enjoy.
